On the left is the French Crab Hallmark (Tête de Crabe), used as a small guarantee mark (petite garantie) to certify solid silver with a minimum fineness of 800 parts per thousand (80% pure silver). It was historically used primarily by provincial assay offices outside of Paris starting in 1838, and became a universal mark across all of France after 1962.
On the right is the Maker's Mark (Poinçon de Maître), which is traditionally enclosed inside a horizontal diamond-shaped lozenge. This custom shape has been strictly required for French silversmiths and jewelers since 1797 to distinguish manufacturing stamps from state assay guarantees.
All jewelry in the Vintage collection has been carefully inspected, cleaned, and polished before being offered for sale.
Some pieces have also been repaired or restored to give them a second life. In certain cases, a stone has been replaced. Any work performed on a piece is clearly noted in its product description.
As vintage items, some pieces may show minor signs of age and wear, which are considered part of their history and unique character.
