Inscriptions: CORO STERLING

This jewelry piece features the distinctive "CORO" and "STERLING" hallmarks of Cohn & Rosenberger, a company founded in 1901 that eventually became the largest costume jewelry manufacturer in the United States.

CORO: This name was officially adopted as the corporate name on June 24, 1943.
While the script version appeared as early as 1919, the specific combination with
"Sterling" in block letters typically dates the piece to the post-WWII
era.

STERLING: This indicates the ring is made of .925 sterling silver. While Coro primarily used economical materials like glass and base metals for costume jewelry, they produced higher-end lines in sterling silver or gold plating, particularly during the 1940s and 1950s.

All jewelry in the Vintage collection has been carefully inspected, cleaned, and polished before being offered for sale.

Some pieces have also been repaired or restored to give them a second life. In certain cases, a stone has been replaced. Any work performed on a piece is clearly noted in its product description.

As vintage items, some pieces may show minor signs of age and wear, which are considered part of their history and unique character.
